ABOUT KATE FALCHI

Kate grew up in New York City's West Village and is the daughter of Carlos Falchi and Missy Falchi.

She is celebrated for her distinctive aesthetic characterized by an eye for modern shapes, for her affinity for hand-painting exotic skins and draping leather.  Her carefully honed taste and design aesthetic has come from years of working alongside veteran artisans in her field.

Over the course of her career, Kate has designed several breakthrough collections that have resulted in highly successful launches. Her Graffiti Collection was first launched at Bergdorf Goodman.

In September 2013, Kate launched her own line of small leather goods. The line, meant to address a gap in the market for small leather goods featuring Kate's hand painted exotic skins and signature “V” cut card pockets.

In 2014 she launched KF by Kate Falchi her signature leather accessories collection.  KF is all hand-made in luxurious Italian leather, detailed in wax thread hand tacking, and draped in such a way that every item is extremely light weight. 

Kate's work has been featured in WWD, In Style Magazine, Vogue, Teen Vogue, the New York Times, and on countless blogs. Her designs have been worn by a celebrity clientele that includes Blake Lively, Sarah Jessica Parker, Jessica Simpson, Rihanna, Lake Bell, and Patricia Fields.
